Labeling Project Specialist/Technical Writer - Maple Grove, MN | $45/hr. | Hybrid We are seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Labeling Project Specialist (LPS) to join our team in Maple Grove, MN. This hybrid role (3 days onsite) involves planning, managing, and directing the creation and revision of product literature and labeling for medical devices. The LPS serves as the primary point of contact and subject‑matter expert for all labeling‑related deliverables, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and high‑quality output.

Pay:

Up to $45/hr.

Schedule:

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Location:

Maple Grove, MN

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate all product labeling deliverables, including labels, IFUs/DFUs, and carton/pouch artwork.

Manage creation and revision of deliverables from project initiation through completion.

Assess project scope, develop labeling plans, and secure necessary resources in collaboration with project management.

Create schedules, establish milestones, track progress, and report project status, challenges, and successes to management.

Lead cross‑functional teams in content development, revisions, and approvals.

Ensure labeling content is accurate, compliant, and consistent with internal and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate desktop publishing and artwork generation, as well as the implementation of labeling via the Document Control System.

Monitor dependencies and proactively address issues that may impact the schedule or quality.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation across labeling initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)

4+ years' experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices

2+ years of labeling experience

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality systems

Strong project coordination and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

Direct labeling or technical writing experience

Experience with medical electrical/capital equipment

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and MS Project

Project management experience and ability to facilitate cross‑functional meetings

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
