Base pay range $17.00/hr – $20.00/hr
Responsibilities
Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and standard operating procedures across front‑end and pharmacy, ensuring accuracy of planograms and on‑hand balances.
Support pharmacy inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, facilitating returns, and completing daily pharmacy smart counts.
Lead asset protection techniques, file claims for overages, shortages, and damages, and maintain accurate inventory counts in all departments.
Open and close the store on behalf of management, performing system start‑ups, cash handling, cashier duties, and readiness of the floor and stock room.
Deliver exceptional customer experience by greeting customers, offering assistance, resolving issues, and modeling Walgreens service traits.
Coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory processes, One Box receiving, and vendor order verification.
Verify pharmacy shipments, complete postings for prescription and OTC orders, and report shortages or damaged product.
Execute On‑Shelf Availability (OSA) end‑to‑end processes, disposals, call‑ins, vendor returns, and scan‑out activities across all departments.
Maintain pricing accuracy, manage daily price changes, markdowns, and regulatory pricing tasks.
Support front‑end and pharmacy ordering, monitor manual orders for excess, and maintain consigned inventory.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
Assist in physical inventory preparations, support the inventory day, and coach team on package delivery activities.
Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications
Six months internal Walgreens experience or one year external retail experience.
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
‘Achieving expectations’ rating on last performance review and no written disciplinary actions in the previous 12 months (internal candidates only).
Demonstrated attention to detail, multitasking ability, and execution management.
Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing problem‑solving strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate.
Prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file.
