Overview The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer experiences by ensuring high brand standards, efficient front‑end operations, and superior customer support.
Responsibilities
Greet teammates and customers, proactively supporting their shopping experience.
Serve as the primary front‑end customer service provider and liaison between customers and management.
Cover the register as needed and support cashiers through complex transactions.
Assist the manager with department scheduling, workflow direction, daily associate assignments, and monitoring presentation standards.
Maintain merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment procedures.
Promote and train teammates on company programs such as customer loyalty, warranty sales, and private‑label credit card enrollment.
Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures while keeping company information confidential.
Create an inclusive store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
Assist the team across the store with an all‑hands‑on‑deck approach.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer‑focused experience is preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift 15 to 35 lbs. (up to 5 times per hour).
Ability to work extended periods of up to 4 hours standing or walking.
Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of up to 2 hours continuously.
Targeted Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. DICK’S Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements and offers a generous benefits package.
