Ocala Operations is a multi‑shift manufacturing facility that builds circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro‑assemblies. The facility provides its products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites. Ocala specializes in low‑volume high‑mix and high‑volume production using both automated and labor‑intensive processes and is supported by a strong engineering and operations team.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in STEM.

Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.

Proven experience in Quality Assurance Management.

Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent with strong critical‑thinking and creative‑problem‑solving skills.

Hands‑on experience with epoxy/sealant application, painting, soldering, and cable/harness fabrication.

Experience implementing mistake‑proofing and other robust process‑control methodologies.

Ability to engage effectively with multiple internal teams and external customers, including Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) representatives.

Desired Skills

5+ years in manufacturing or related fields.

Proven ability to perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions on high‑volume, high‑mix production lines.

Lean Six‑Sigma Certification (Green or Black Belt) with documented business‑performance improvements.

Expert‑level proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, etc.).

Experience evaluating and inserting new technologies into existing manufacturing processes.

Circuit‑card, wire‑harness, and electro‑optical production experience.

Able to obtain a Secret clearance.

What You Will Be Doing We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead program‑dedicated quality engineers and deliver comprehensive quality support across our production programs. This role ensures resources are aligned to program needs, drives continuous‑process improvement, and guarantees on‑time, on‑cost deliveries that meet program and customer requirements.

Lead Quality Engineering Team: manage program‑dedicated quality engineers and allocate resources to support all production programs.

Drive Continuous Improvement: develop and execute strategies that raise production‑process efficiency, ensuring on‑time, on‑cost deliveries that meet program and customer requirements.

Implement Quality Systems & Practices: oversee production quality engineering, skills training, metrology, inspection, QMS compliance, and supply‑chain quality; support corrective‑action boards and quality initiatives for programs and mission areas.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: partner with Production Operations, Engineering & Technology, PP&C, and Program Management as an active Integrated Product Team member; interface with peer managers, industry contacts, and customer representatives on technical, schedule, and contractual matters.

Stakeholder Communication: conduct briefings and technical meetings for internal and external audiences.

Problem Solving & Decision Making: lead resolution of critical/complex technical or operational issues to keep schedules on track.

Financial & Performance Management: develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standards; influence the definition of organizational objectives and long‑range goals.

Additional Information Position Location: Ocala, Florida. Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance. The work will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Pay & Benefits Salary ranges: $99,700‑$175,835 (varies by state) and $114,700‑$198,720 for major metropolitan areas.
