Residential Construction Foreman in Manti Utah. Supervising on-site teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget by directing daily tasks, managing resources, interpreting blueprints, maintaining quality, and serving as the crucial link between workers and project managers, focusing on leadership, communication, and technical expertise. Key duties include crew leadership, scheduling, safety compliance (OSHA), materials management, quality control, and reporting project status to superiors.
Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision: Lead, train, schedule, and motivate construction workers, delegating tasks and resolving conflicts.
Site Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring work aligns with plans, blueprints, and quality standards.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols (OSHA), inspect equipment, and maintain a secure work environment.
Planning & Coordination: Read blueprints, estimate material needs, manage site logistics, and adjust for site changes.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain daily logs, track progress, and report to project managers.
Resource Management: Manage budgets for labor/materials and ensure necessary tools/equipment are available and maintained.
Qualifications Essential Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Blueprint reading, carpentry, general construction, Thourough tool/equipment operation skills.
Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge: Building codes, construction methods, and OSHA regulations. Drivers License
Physical: Stamina to work long hours, lift heavy objects, and work in various conditions.
Preferred Experience
Proven experience as a foreman or crew leader.
First Aid/CPR Certification
SIPs (Structural Isulated Panel) knowledge
Knowledge of Building Science Principles
Additional Information The starting salary is $65,000+, with opportunities for pay advancement as you earn additional certifications. Benefits Available.
