Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our diesel technician team, ensuring the timely and efficient diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Compensation Competitive compensation package of $73,000 - $87,000 yearly salary.

Key Responsibilities
Assists with scheduling employees for the department, trains and coaches mechanics
Monitors daily accident reports to establish efficient repair schedules; inspects damaged units to estimate cost of repair and time required for repairs
Establishes priority of maintenance and repairs based on availability of materials and parts and requirements of scheduled operations
Helps to ensure that company and client equipment is maintained and operating efficiently
Controls and monitors inventory, in the absence of Parts staff; examines worn or damaged parts and makes recommendations for repair/replacement to management
Ensures that all vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and properly working
Implements safety policies and procedures for the department; maintains a safe working environment
Ensures that property, grounds, and facilities are clean and well organized
Other duties as required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience as a diesel technician, with demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related systems.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
