High Voltage Substation Inspector
POWER Engineers, Member of WSP, is currently seeking a High Voltage Substation Inspector. This position will be primarily responsible for performing substation inspections. The role may require up to 100% travel, with mobilization provided by POWER. Work will be conducted in the Amarillo, Texas area and surrounding states.

Who You Are Required Qualifications
5+ years of active field experience with proficiency in Word, Excel, and photo documentation.
Travel requirement based on project location.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of transmission line work, foundations, stringing of conductors, and transmission substations.
Ability to work up to 12‑hour days, 5–6 days a week if project requires.
Willingness to travel and stay for a minimum of 6 weeks at a time.
Comfortable working in extreme weather conditions for up to 12 hours a day.
Willingness to wear company‑provided PPE for the entire shift while onsite.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs at any given time.
Capacity to walk 3–5 miles per day across rough terrain or uneven surfaces.
Ability to step in and out of a 3/4‑ton pickup truck several times a day.
Additional Requirements
Current and valid driver’s license.
Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications and comparing them with the customer or engineer’s standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with others at all levels of the organization.
Prepare detailed reports and present them to the customer in an organized, clear, and concise manner each day.
