Automotive Service Manager

to lead our service department. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain the department’s efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a deep understanding of automotive repair, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities

Department Leadership

Manage and oversee the service department’s daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to dealership standards. Lead, train, and motivate service advisors, technicians, and support staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences. Establish performance goals and monitor team performance to meet or exceed dealership and manufacturer standards. Customer Service Excellence

Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally. Ensure that all customer interactions reflect Crown Motors’ commitment to quality and satisfaction. Monitor and improve customer satisfaction scores by implementing strategies to enhance service quality. Operational Management

Develop and maintain efficient systems for scheduling, repair order processing, and communication between service advisors and technicians. Monitor department productivity, workflow, and profitability, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer policies, and dealership procedures. Inventory And Equipment

Monitor parts inventory levels and ensure the timely availability of required components. Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of tools, equipment, and facilities to support safe and efficient operations. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree or higher in automotive technology, business management, or a related field is preferred. Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in automotive service management or a similar leadership role. In‑depth knowledge of automotive repair processes and dealership service operations. Proven leadership and team‑building skills. Strong financial and operational management abilities. Proficiency with dealership management systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, moving between office and shop floor. Capacity to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Compensation And Benefits
