Job Description
Base Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour plus shift differential of $1.00.
Shift available: 2nd shift – 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, plus overtime when needed.
Roles and Responsibilities The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates will work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding, and repetitive environment, including heavy lifting and the use of hand tools. Forklift experience is required.
Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass‑produce windows, doors, and glass units.
Assist with delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
Operate hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
Read and follow simple written instructions.
Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
Use a tape measure, inspect, examine, and detect product defects.
Make fraction and decimal conversions.
Operate equipment required for the job.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Provide on‑the‑job training to new employees.
Read and perform work as assigned by the department supervisor.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packaging.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
General labor.
Qualifications
Forklift experience.
High school diploma or GED; prior experience is a plus.
Positive attitude.
Team oriented.
Dependable.
Energetic.
Flexibility to work day or night shifts and weekends as needed.
Ability to read a tape.
Overhead crane and forklift experience is a plus.
Mechanically inclined.
