About the Role CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with a growing manufacturer in the Fort Worth, TX area in their search for a Cost Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing cost reports, and delivering accurate financial insights that support business decision‑making. What You’ll Actually Do as the Cost Accountant:
Maintain standard costs, inventory valuation, and cost models
Prepare cost and variance analysis reports
Support month‑end close activities
Monitor production costs and identify improvement opportunities
Track inventory activity, cycle counts, and variances
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis
Ensure compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP
What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Cost Accountant:
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA a plus)
5+ years of cost accounting experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing
Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis
Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred (D365 a plus)
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Seniority level Associate
