Accountant
Our client is an organization in the Green Bay area looking for an Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with accounting experience, strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
Base Pay Range $65,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the general ledger, record journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts for multiple entities.
Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and other specialized analyses such as cash flow and inventory performance.
Manage fixed asset accounting, including tracking additions, disposals, and depreciation using fixed asset management software.
Oversee and support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice review, approval, and payment initiation.
Research and apply multi-state sales and use tax regulations.
Reconcile and record employee benefit programs.
Maintain compliance with state filing requirements.
Execute month-end close activities and ensure accurate daily transaction recording and reconciliations.
Approve, initiate, and record banking transactions, ensuring adherence to internal controls and cash management procedures.
Support the Director of Finance with audits, surveys, and other special projects, including year-end financial reporting and external submissions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree in accounting or closely related field.
1+ years of accounting experience.
High detail of attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
