Position Overview To assist the Head Men's Golf Coach in all aspects of the program, while contributing to the goals of the North Central College Athletic Department and Men's Golf Program. The main responsibilities include assisting with recruiting, academics and retention, administrative duties, and coaching. This assistantship will complement and enhance the student's formal graduate studies, research interests, and career goals by providing an opportunity to apply theory to practice while gaining valuable training and professional experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting efforts for the men's golf team.
Support academics and retention of student‑athletes.
Handle administrative duties related to the program.
Participate in coaching activities under the direction of the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Admission into a graduate degree program at North Central College required. Preferred programs include Master of Leadership Studies: Sports Leadership and MBA.
Approximate working hours: 20 hours per week during the academic year, excluding academic breaks.
