A growing private real estate investment manager based in Darien, CT is seeking a
Senior Analyst / Junior Associate
to join its underwriting and asset management team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in
construction lending, bridge lending, or real estate development , with strong analytical capabilities and a passion for
credit‑focused real estate investing.
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in
real estate underwriting, bridge lending, construction lending, development, acquisitions, or related fields
Strong modeling skills ( Excel ) and understanding of debt structures
Familiarity with construction budgets, schedules, and risk assessment – a strong plus
Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment
Bachelor’s degree required (Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Engineering, or related fields preferred)
Responsibilities
Underwrite senior and subordinate debt investments across multifamily, mixed‑use, industrial, and other asset classes
Build and manage detailed financial models, cash‑flow projections, and sensitivity analyses
Assist in reviewing deal structures, loan terms, budgets, and third‑party reports
Participate in site visits, borrower meetings, and construction progress evaluations
Prepare investment memos and materials for internal credit committee
Support asset management activities including draw reviews, covenant monitoring, and performance tracking
Conduct market research and assist in portfolio analytics as needed
