Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr
Overview The Accounting & Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, support budgeting and forecasting efforts, and deliver accurate financial reporting to leadership. This role is hands-on and suited for someone who enjoys ownership, process improvement, and partnering across the business to drive operational and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities Accounting Operations
Manage daily accounting activities, including AP, AR, GL, and month-end close
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
Ensure timely and accurate recording of revenue, expenses, and accruals
Maintain internal controls and support audit requests
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages
Analyze variances and provide insights on risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
Support cash flow monitoring, working capital analysis, and KPI tracking
Budgeting & Forecasting
Partner with leadership to develop budgets and rolling forecasts
Build and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making
Provide actionable recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate with department heads to align financial results and support business initiatives
Recommend process enhancements and automation opportunities
Lead or mentor junior team members (if applicable)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
Strong foundation in GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred
Strong communication, analytical ability, and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment
Preferred Experience
Public accounting or audit background is a plus
Experience in manufacturing, CPG, tech, pharma
Exposure to private equity–backed environments is beneficial
