Responsibilities
Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
Develop and make available informational financial materials.
Coordinate, publicize, and provide a wide variety of personal financial management classes and workshops covering the military lifecycle.
Respond to requests for age‑appropriate classes or seminars.
Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication as authorized by the OSD FINRED Program Office.
Manage duty‑to‑warn situations per Department of Defense protocol.
Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision and group meetings to share trends and issues.
Participate in in‑services, training, quality‑improvement committees, or other contract activities as assigned.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required (associate degree plus 4 years experience or high school diploma plus 6 years experience may be considered).
3+ years of financial counseling experience.
U.S. citizenship and fluent English (bilingual English/Spanish if required by contract).
Obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
Pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
Certified financial counseling credential: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.

Salary and Benefits Base salary range: $53,125 – $84,995.
