Location: Los Angeles, CA 90038 Work Model: Onsite
Responsibilities
Populate monthly financial reporting schedules and provide to Planning
Analyze actuals vs. forecast (Budget / Estimate) and explain fluctuations
Analyze fringe balances and prepare quarterly fringe accruals based on the latest estimates
Prepare annual multi-employer pension project
Prepare corporate cost allocations
Prepare invoices for charges
Prepare and park monthly and quarterly journal entries and accruals as required
Reconcile balance sheet accounts related to overhead
Clear conversion accounts ensuring they net to zero
Clear suspense/clearing accounts ensuring they net to zero
Balancing of financial systems
Validate Quarterly and Earnings Books
Prepare Quarterly Balance Sheet File for Planning Team
Assist with audit requests
Back-up for Capital Acquisition/Disposal forms initial review
Back-up Aviation Department
Produce other ad hoc reporting and manage special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of accounting experience (account reconciliation, booked journal entries, understanding accruals, reporting, month end close, deadlines)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (economics or finance acceptable with relevant experience)
