Job Summary

Supplier Quality Auditor Technician for Parker Aerospace in Fort Worth, TX. Responsible for supporting Supplier Excellence and Receiving Inspection teams, performing dimensional and mechanical inspections of supplier‑provided aerospace components, ensuring compliance with customer and company quality system specifications, and training new employees. Responsibilities

Act as primary Supplier Quality point of contact for received products, representing Parker Aerospace during supplier communications. Liaise between Receiving/Inspection team and Supplier Excellence regarding non‑conformances and quality performance. Perform quality reviews of purchase orders, supplier paperwork, specifications, blueprints, and related documents. Mitigate supplier paperwork holds and product issues. Conduct periodic dimensional/mechanical inspections of parts, components, sub‑assemblies and assemblies, verifying conformance to blueprints and engineering specifications. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, comparators, and gauging equipment to verify conformance to customer requirements. Determine acceptance or rejection of products/components based on specifications. Provide assistance to Receiving Inspection regarding supplier product documentation and specifications. Ensure compliance with Parker Aerospace quality system requirements. Review new or revised specifications for updates to maintain current knowledge of supplier requirements. Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, using discretion to select procedures and techniques. Advise manufacturing personnel of possible supplier non‑conformities. Assist in timely processing and disposition of non‑conforming supplier material, including containment, reinspection, return or disposal. Represent Parker Aerospace on product quality and quality systems issues related to suppliers. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent with at least 8 years of related inspection experience, including 2 years in a similar role. Proficient with precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, feeler gauges). Pass required vision and color vision tests annually. Ability to implement lean/continuous improvement initiatives. Strong teamwork, goal setting, performance feedback, and self‑development skills. Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy. Knowledge of common industry concepts, practices, and procedures. Excellent computer skills, including reports and specialized software applications. Clear and effective communication with co‑workers, supervisors, managers, and suppliers. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications. Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, percent, and graph interpretation. Knowledge of applicable military standards or specifications. On‑site position; occasional travel to suppliers required. Full‑time, 40‑hour work week. Mental and Physical Demands

Requires frequent movement inside the plant to access tools, parts, and materials; ability to examine test equipment and detect defects. May need to manually move parts or equipment up to 50 pounds over 30 feet. Regular attendance, cooperative teamwork, and professional conduct expected. Conditions of Employment
