Quality Inspector Sr (RNI) – Parker Aerospace
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Salary: $50,000 – $60,000 (yearly)

Position Summary Responsible for inspection of various semi‑complex parts, tools, and instruments to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards. Work with limited guidance in a team environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain accurate acceptance/rejection records and certifications per specifications.
Determine acceptance or rejection after inspection/calibration of parts, tools, and instruments; prepare documentation and calibration history.
Perform semi‑complex inspection of components and shelf‑life items using measuring instruments.
Inspect assembled products to determine acceptability.
Identify product issues and send samples for periodic testing.
Adapt and develop inspection set‑ups, tool and jig layouts.
Perform first‑article, envelope, source inspections and semi‑complex surface plate set‑ups.
Interpret specifications, records, charts and manuals to arrive at acceptance or rejection.
Layout and measure hole locations and centerlines on castings, forgings, and machine parts.
Investigate cause of customer return failures.
Assist customer/government source inspectors as needed.
Clearly communicate internal audit procedures during internal and external audits.
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge to efficiently perform assigned work and become proficient on new tasks.
Observe company policies and safety rules, keeping a clean and FOD‑free work area.
Actively participate in lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide training to other inspectors and certified operators (as required).
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; 3‑5 years of inspection or calibration experience.
Ability to implement and apply lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills.
Precision and accuracy in measurements.
Knowledge of common concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
Pass required vision exam.
Competence with job‑specific software and automated systems.
Mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic trigonometry.
Preferred: CMM operations experience and background in dimensioning and tolerancing per ANSI Y 14.5.
Knowledge of applicable military standards or specifications.
Forklift license may be required.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
Typical Mental and Physical Demands
Frequent movement within the plant to access tools, parts, and materials.
Standing for majority of time; occasional use of forklift and moving up to 50 lb over 30 ft.
Regular attendance and cooperative teamwork.
