Position Summary
The
HR Generalist & Talent Acquisition Partner
plays a critical role in supporting our rapidly growing organization by managing core HR functions while also partnering in strategic talent acquisition efforts. This role works directly with the President and CEO, providing hands‑on HR support, trusted counsel, and execution across the employee lifecycle.
This is an ideal role for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, growth‑oriented environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and is passionate about building strong teams and healthy workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
Serve as a primary HR point of contact for employees and leaders across the organization
Support and administer HR policies, procedures, and employee relations in alignment with company values and compliance standards
Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, disciplinary actions, and documentation
Partner with leadership on performance management, coaching, corrective actions, and PIPs when needed
Assist with benefits administration, leave management, and HRIS accuracy (e.g., payroll, status changes, documentation)
Ensure compliance with federal, state (Texas and multi‑state), and employment laws
Support audits, record‑keeping, and HR reporting
Help foster a positive, faith‑aligned, high‑accountability culture across all departments
Talent Acquisition
Partner with leadership to support hiring needs for clinical, operational, and corporate roles
Assist with job descriptions, postings, and screening of candidates
Coordinate interviews, offer letters, and pre‑employment processes
Support onboarding and orientation processes in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and leadership teams
Contribute to improving hiring processes, candidate experience, and time‑to‑fill metrics
Strategic Partnership & Special Projects
Work closely with the President and CEO on HR initiatives, organizational development, and people strategy
Assist with HR‑related projects tied to growth, new clinic launches, and organizational restructuring
Support leadership training, internal communications, and culture‑building initiatives
Participate in continuous improvement of HR systems, workflows, and documentation
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
3–5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar role
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, and compliance
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion
Preferred
Experience in healthcare, mental health, or multi‑site organizations
Exposure to talent acquisition or recruiting functions
Experience working in a fast‑growth or entrepreneurial environment
