Compensation
Base pay starting between $118,000 to $156,000/yr

Job Duties This position plays a strategic role in shaping our enterprise data vision and roadmap. You will partner with business and IT stakeholders to lead data architecture and drive the implementation of scalable and modern data solutions that empower business innovation, analytics, and operational excellence. While not a people manager, this position will provide technical direction with all the data team, will collaborate across IT to identify opportunities, and will work with business stakeholders to provide technical validation and guidance on business initiatives. They design the integrations and create integration architectures.
Design and implement scalable data architectures to support organizational data needs.
Architect and develop data pipelines ensuring reliability, scalability and security.
Drive data-driven decision-making by ensuring data quality, integrity and compliance with data governance, legal, regulatory and security standards.
Lead data modeling initiatives driving data trust and self-service.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize enterprise analytics.

Collaborate with IT and business leaders to develop data goals and architecture roadmap.
Provide guidance to IT engineers, setting technical standards, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
10+ years’ data engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience with data modeling, database design, and optimization
Proficiency in Microsoft AIS, Snowflake and dbt.
Experience with data modeling and semantic layer tools like AtScale.
Familiarity with data governance and cataloging tools like Alation.
Experience with cloud platforms and concepts like DataOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Data Contracts, Data Observability.
Experience with concepts like Data Mesh, APIs, Streaming Data, Real-Time Analytics, etc.
