Senior Account Manager – Advanced Personnel Resources
Advanced Personnel Resources is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist with a construction background for a new opportunity in the High Point area. This high‑profile position performs a variety of billing and A/R functions including invoicing jobs, invoicing work orders, sending and collecting lien waivers, following up on pay applications, and making collection calls. The role interacts with various levels of management within the organization.
Responsibilities
Invoice jobs (T&M, Lump Sum, GMP) and work orders and manage sales tax.
Create supplier schedules to support customer pay applications.
Generate and collect vendor and subcontractor lien waivers.
Communicate and update billings with the operations team.
Investigate and resolve billing and collection discrepancies.
Follow up with customers for additional information, documentation, and payment status.
Confirm receipt of billings.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent; degree in Business or Accounting is a plus.
Background in the construction industry preferred, specifically in billing.
Experience with customer online portals for billings and job management.
Experience using a fully integrated ERP system.
Beginner to intermediate Excel skills (PivotTables, Sum functions, V/X look‑ups).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation Base pay range:
$50,000.00/yr – $60,000.00/yr
