Position: Temporary Dairy Processing Assistant
Job Type: Temporary
Location: Raleigh, NC
Working Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, flexible hours typically 8 am–4 pm with lunch
Hiring Range: $20–$24 per hour
Job Open Date: 12/08/2025
Responsibilities Support dairy processing staff with tasks related to the production and handling of finished milk and ice cream products. Spend significant time in cold storage areas—including the milk cooler and ice cream freezer—stocking packaged products and assisting with quality control activities such as environmental monitoring and solids & fat content testing in the lab.
CIP
– Clean In Place, operation of the cleaning system for tanks and pipes.
COP
– Clean Out of Place, operation of COP vats for small equipment sanitation.
Separation Equipment Cleaning – operate the separator in clean mode, break down, reassemble, and sanitize.

Requirements and Preferences
High school degree with prior dairy processing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred: previous dairy experience
No required license or certification
