Position Temporary Dairy Processing Assistant – Temporary

Responsibilities

Support dairy processing staff with tasks related to the production and handling of finished milk and ice cream products.

Spend significant time in cold storage areas, including the milk cooler and ice cream freezer.

Stock packaged products and assist with quality control activities, such as environmental monitoring.

Conduct solids and fat content testing in the lab.

Operate Clean In Place (CIP) system for tanks and pipes.

Operate Clean Out of Place (COP) vats for small equipment sanitation.

Operate separator in clean mode, break down, reassemble, and sanitize during separation equipment cleaning.

Schedule 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday. Hours are flexible but typically 8 am‑4 pm with lunch.

Qualifications

High school degree with prior dairy processing experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Previous dairy experience preferred.

Pay Anticipated hiring range: $20‑$24 per hour.
