Temporary Dairy Processing Assistant Responsibilities include supporting dairy processing staff with tasks related to the production and handling of finished milk and ice cream products. Significant time will be spent in cold storage areas, including the milk cooler and ice cream freezer, stocking packaged products and assisting with quality control activities such as environmental monitoring and conducting solids and fat content testing in the lab.

Additional responsibilities include:

CIP – Clean In Place, operation of the cleaning system for tanks and pipes.

COP – Clean Out of Place, operation of COP vats for small equipment sanitation.

Separation Equipment Cleaning – operation of the separator in clean mode, breakdown, reassemble, and sanitize.

Work Schedule

20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, hours are flexible but typically 8 am‑4 pm with lunch.

Qualifications

High school degree with prior dairy processing experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work in cold storage areas.

Experience with CIP/COP systems and separator operations (preferred).
