Advanced Machining Technician
Location: Sharon, MA. Salary: $33.00/hr - $40.00/hr.
What You'll Do
Prepare and operate various CNC and manual machining tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
Understand, visualize, and apply blueprints and technical plans to guide your processes.
Implement robust checks to guarantee finished products meet high-quality standards.
Perform equipment troubleshooting to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
Collaborate effectively with others to innovate and optimize machining processes.
Support in cultivating an educational environment by training less experienced machinists.
Commit to a safe and systematic workspace, following all safety guidelines.
Your Skills and Experience
Completion of high school, with post‑secondary education in machining being advantageous.
Five or more years of relevant experience in machining environments and mastery of CNC programming.
Proficient with precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
Exceptional problem‑solving abilities with a detail‑oriented approach.
Adaptive to both team‑centered and independent working conditions.
Strong communication skills paired with an eager‑to‑learn mentality.
