Workstation Support Analyst – FastTek Global
FastTek Global is seeking a qualified Workstation Support Analyst to manage and support our Windows desktop environment across multiple locations.
Duties
Work with the Client Health team within Digital Workplace Services to support internal customers in the Windows desktop environment.
Collaborate with the EUC Engineering team to select new desktops/laptops, develop base platforms, package software, and manage Group Policy.
Serve as the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator, handling application packaging, deployment, support, and maintenance.
Job Summary
Administer SCCM, focusing on application packaging, deployment, and maintenance.
Skills
Extensive experience with SCCM enterprise environments.
Desktop deployment automation design, migration, and troubleshooting.
OS image management for large corporate environments.
Development and improvement of enterprise desktop deployment best practices.
Knowledge of Windows registries, driver interaction, and silent Windows OS installations.
Application packaging, deployment, and administration.
Evaluation of emerging technologies for business fit.
Technical leadership and strategic recommendations across IT groups.
Debugging of Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Root‑cause analysis and proactive automation of recurring issues.
General Experience
Minimum of 3 years in technical, administrative roles involving management information systems and coordination.
Substitution Of Education For Experience One year of academic study beyond high school may substitute for 9 months of experience, up to a maximum of a 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Business or Information Systems for 3 years of general experience.
Additional Experience
OS image management for large corporate environments.
SCCM administration, patching, and maintenance.
Security policy implementation for applications and OSes using Group Policy.
Automation technologies for desktop deployment.
Education
Technical certification or equivalent experience in administering and deploying System Center Configuration Manager.
