Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles. Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and safety regulations. Administer compensation and benefits programs, including wage scales, shift differentials, and performance-based incentives. Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives, focusing on safety, technical skills, and leadership. Lead performance management processes, including goal setting, appraisals, and development plans for all staff. Drive initiatives for employee engagement, retention, and a positive plant culture. Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a manufacturing setting. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, with practical experience in labor relations and compliance. Demonstrated expertise across core HR functions (talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation). Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support operational efficiency and safety programs. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills for a dynamic industrial environment. Bonus Qualifications
Experience supporting a unionized workforce. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in a second language relevant to the local production workforce.
