Datacenter Talent Strategy
This position requires deep specialization in frontline hiring, proactive sourcing, market intelligence, and partnership with internal and external recruiting resources, including RPOs, contract recruiters, talent agencies, and trade pipelines.

What You'll Do (Datacenter & Frontline Talent Focus) Lead Full‑Cycle Recruiting for Hyperscale Datacenter Project Roles You will recruit for roles aligned to our project job architecture such as:
Electrical Installer I‑III
Installation Manager
Project Specialist Supervisor
Project Superintendent
Project Manager I‑III
Operations Manager
Technicians, Integrators, Cabling Specialists, Access Control Installers
Commissioning & Site Support roles
These job families are critical components of the Datacenter Workforce Planning.
Build Scalable Talent Pipelines for High‑Volume, Rapid Hiring
Develop candidate pipelines that support program staffing, multi‑phase project ramp‑ups, and rapidly shifting workforce needs.
Create readiness pipelines to reduce vacancies and improve project margins—directly supporting the business case for hyperscale growth.
Use data‑driven forecasting and collaboration with Workforce Planning, Operations, and HRBPs to anticipate project labor demands.
Partner with external recruiting ecosystem (RPO, agencies, contract recruiters).
To accelerate speed‑to‑hire, you will:
Manage relationships with RPO partners, ensuring alignment on volume targets, skill sets, and quality‑of‑hire expectations.
Engage contract recruiters during surge periods or large‑scale mobilizations.
Oversee vendor effectiveness (SLAs, submittal quality, candidate throughput).
Develop vendor strategies for remote labor markets, prevailing wage roles, and short‑duration talent needs.
Execute Advanced Sourcing for Hard‑to‑Find Talent Use best‑practice sourcing techniques used in hyperscale construction and security integrator recruiting:
Skilled trades networks (IBEW, IEC, community colleges, technical schools)
Military transition programs aligned to electro‑mechanical skills
Local workforce boards and rural talent pools
Social sourcing, micro‑targeted ads, and passive candidate engagement
Employ market mapping for remote project locations where "talent scarcity" is the primary obstacle.
Drive Selection, Assessment & Hiring Logistics
Screen for culture fit and role aptitude (low‑voltage, cabling, access control, electrified hardware, building technologies).
Partner with PMs, Ops Leaders, and Superintendents to select candidates aligned to project phases.
Coordinate high‑volume interview days and onboarding for project mobilization waves.
Ensure Recruiting Compliance
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Support union or regional labor considerations when applicable.
Maintain offer documentation consistency across project geographies.
Brand & Community Engagement
Represent Convergint at community college events, veteran job fairs, military base programs, and technical training partnerships.
Promote our culture, Values & Beliefs, and career pathways for frontline roles.
What You'll Need/Core Competencies
Proven success recruiting frontline technicians, tradespeople, or construction workforce at a high volume with quality.
Experience recruiting for superintendents and PMs a plus.
Ability to staff remote locations, handle high req volumes, and pivot rapidly.
Exceptional organization and prioritization skills under time constraints.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Confidentiality and discretion.
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, ATS tools, and sourcing platforms.
Experience with RPO or high‑volume agency coordination.
Prior work in construction, security integration, MEP, or datacenter environments.
Understanding of workforce planning principles.
PHR or equivalent certification is a plus.

1+ years of relevant recruiting experience
