About the Role We are seeking a Tier 1/2 Network Engineer to join our IT/Networking team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This role offers a hands‑on mix of day‑to‑day support (Tier 1) and more advanced troubleshooting and configuration tasks (Tier 2), including working on our transition from Cisco Meraki to Aruba networks, SD‑WAN, and Azure cloud networking.

Key Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 support for network incidents and requests
Assist with Tier 2 tasks, including configuration changes, troubleshooting, and escalation of complex issues
Support the migration from Meraki to Aruba across wired and wireless infrastructure
Manage and troubleshoot Aruba switching and wireless platforms
Monitor network performance, alerts, and tickets
Maintain up‑to‑date documentation for legacy and new systems
Participate in branch site onboarding and cutover projects
Collaborate with Tier 2/3 engineers on design and implementation tasks
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of hands‑on network experience (Tier 1 / NOC / Tier 2)
Experience with Meraki and Aruba Networks
Familiarity with Palo Alto Firewalls / Prisma SD‑WAN
Experience with Microsoft Azure networking
Understanding of basic routing and switching (VLANs, OSPF/BGP preferred)
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
Excellent documentation and communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience with network migrations / cutovers
Familiarity with SASE / Zero Trust concepts
Network certifications (CCNA, Aruba ACMA, Palo Alto PCNSA, Azure Networking Associate)
Some exposure to network automation (Ansible, PowerShell, Python)
