Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across ~17 U.S. sites, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless systems, SD-WAN, and VPN solutions
Support the rollout and standardization of a core networking stack including
Fortinet and HPE Aruba
technologies across on-prem, private cloud, and public cloud environments Participate in the implementation and ongoing management of
SD-WAN
across the enterprise Collaborate with the Global Infrastructure Manager and Sr. Director of IT on network architecture, upgrades, capacity planning, and security enhancements Support and optimize networking within a growing
Azure cloud environment , including virtual networks, firewalls, routing, and connectivity to on-prem infrastructure Monitor network health and performance using industry-standard tools (NMS, SNMP monitoring, logging, etc.) and respond to incidents proactively Work closely with site-level IT teams, global infrastructure teams, and MSP partners to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues Assist in major IT transformation initiatives such as network modernization, cloud migration, security uplift programs, and data center optimization Document network configurations, standards, processes, and changes to ensure long-term maintainability Contribute to building a resilient, scalable, secure network foundation for a rapidly growing manufacturing enterprise

Qualifications and Skills as a Network Engineer 3–6 years of hands‑on network engineering experience
in an enterprise environment Strong understanding of core networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DHCP/DNS, QoS, segmentation, and network security best practices Experience with
Fortinet
and
HPE Aruba
strongly preferred; Meraki experience beneficial during migration away from Meraki Exposure to
Azure/hybrid cloud networking
(VNets, VPN gateways, firewalls, load balancers, ExpressRoute/S2S connections, routing) is a strong plus Experience with SD-WAN technologies Familiarity with network monitoring tools Ability to work effectively with MSPs, cross-functional IT teams, and business users Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues across distributed environments Solid documentation skills and a strong sense of ownership
Certifications (preferred, not required) Networking:
CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent Security:
Security+, Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE 4/5/6 ideal) Cloud:
Azure Network Engineer Associate or other Azure certifications
