Base pay range $86,681.00/yr - $109,650.00/yr
Description
Perform coding, testing, debugging and maintenance activities for Microsoft Dynamics Applications and related development tools/technologies using VB.NET, C#, Java Script, Team Foundation Server, etc.
Research, configuration, and development work for upgrading existing MS Dynamics Applications.
Write and assist in writing computer programs based on previously developed and approved program specifications using versioning control software and best practices.
Technical research and implementation of upgrades, compatible technologies, new tools and components and linking them in with the existing platforms.
Develop and maintain SQL-based Dynamics Reports with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
Work as part of the broader CONNECTIONS development team to perform technical activities related to writing and integrating application code using WCF, WPF and .NET and testing modules and components.
Consult with various IT staff to help determine the most technically efficient approach to design, on-line processing, database structure, and data communication.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications One year of permanent competitive services as an Information Technology Specialist 3 (Programming) OR in a position at G-21 or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law OR in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in advancement of more than two salary grades.
