The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recruit for a wide range of manufacturing roles, including production operators, skilled trades, and engineers.
- Partner with manufacturing plant managers and department leads to define job requirements and recruitment strategies.
- Conduct thorough interviews to assess candidates' technical skills, experience, and cultural fit for a production environment.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting and candidate generation to offer negotiation and pre-onboarding.
- Utilize diverse sourcing channels, including industry-specific job boards, trade schools, and professional networks, to attract qualified talent.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment metrics within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proven experience recruiting for a variety of roles within the manufacturing sector (e.g., production, engineering, skilled trades).
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, technologies, and required skill sets.
- Proficiency in advanced sourcing techniques to attract niche talent in competitive manufacturing markets.
- Strong command of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with candidates and hiring managers.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with common manufacturing processes or skilled trades terminology.
- Experience recruiting for roles within a unionized environment.
- Understanding of safety protocols and culture prevalent in manufacturing settings.
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to a diverse manufacturing workforce (e.g., Spanish).
- Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
