The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for various manufacturing roles, including production, skilled trades, engineering, and plant leadership.
- Partner with manufacturing hiring managers and HR to understand departmental needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to offer extension and pre-employment screening specific to a manufacturing environment.
- Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to track candidate progress and maintain accurate recruitment data.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and hard-to-fill manufacturing positions.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and safety standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract diverse talent within the manufacturing sector.
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for manufacturing, production, or industrial roles.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, terminology, and technical skill sets.
- Proven ability to source and attract qualified candidates for skilled trades and technical positions.
- Experience with high-volume recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and various sourcing platforms.
Bonus Qualifications
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Experience with specific HRIS/ATS platforms common in manufacturing (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Certification in recruiting (e.g., CIR, CDR) or HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience recruiting for niche technical roles within manufacturing (e.g., Automation Engineers, Controls Technicians).
