Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Some managers also lead Departments, managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results. The Guest Service Department Manager ensures crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, promotes sales promotions, provides staff training, and organizes the Front Counter, McCaff’e, and Drive-Thru areas. The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high-quality, safe food quickly, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff on production procedures for new menu items. The People Department Manager hires qualified crew, trains them, and schedules them to meet sales and profit goals, while motivating and recognizing crew members.
Qualifications Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We look for positive team players with flexible schedules who thrive in the famously fast-paced McDonald’s environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
