Pay Range Base pay range: $50,000 – $60,000 per year.
Summary We’re looking for a Facilities Maintenance Lead to oversee the care, maintenance, and operation of all buildings, grounds, parking areas, and mechanical systems for Mears Parkway Auto Group.
Essential Duties
Performs routine semi-skilled maintenance for MPAG facilities, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work.
Assembles, repairs, maintains, and moves furniture such as desks, cabinets, tables, chairs, shelves, and related fittings and fixtures.
Prevents maintenance of heating, electrical, and air conditioning equipment; replaces filters; identifies and reports more complex maintenance needs.
Inspects facilities and grounds for safety and security; identifies and reports hazardous conditions and facility maintenance needs.
Follows safe working practices and uses appropriate safety equipment as required.
Assists with structural pest control measures.
Monitors inventory, orders supplies, and maintains purchase records within authorized budget.
Maintains records and logs of daily activities.
Maintains company facility maintenance vehicle.
Schedules and completes assignments dispatched through a request system; ensures assignments are prioritized appropriately and in a manner that minimizes travel time between facilities.
Completes and remains current with all mandatory manufacturing, safety compliance, and safeguard training.
Assists in communicating/coordinating with outside vendors that may need to be brought in for repairs and maintenance outside of Facility Maintenance team’s scope/skills.
Assists in the procurement and review of quotes from outside vendors; provides insight into the reasonableness of recommendations, project scope, cost, etc.
Position requires consistent travel between Dover and Canton for the Auto Group facilities.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in building/facility operations or a related field.
Proven knowledge of commercial maintenance systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, custodial, and safety.
Familiarity with OSHA, ADA, and fire code compliance.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks related to building maintenance.
Expected weekly hours: 40+.
Valid driver’s license.
