Scope and Purpose of the Position Direct and manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Glens Falls Corps.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support and uphold the mission of The Salvation Army.
General office management.
Invoices and billing.
Income management.
Monthly reports.
Advisory board management.
Donor relations.
Record keeping and filing.
Volunteer and community service management, including orientation, supervision, and compliance.
Assist in fundraising efforts.
Grant writing and proper submittal.
Red Kettles applications and payroll.
Gym/building rental, obtain COI when necessary.
Event coordination as they arise.
Work hand‑in‑hand with Corps Officers to ensure all administrative needs are met.
Order supplies and maintain proper stocking of business, janitorial, and program supplies.
Special Skills, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
General business administration and office management experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently with high degree of attention to detail.
Superior time management and planning.
Ability to supervise other personnel.
