Solutions – Operations Manager (PM Shift) Full Time

Position Summary

Under the General Manager’s direction, the Operations Manager supervises day‑to‑day site operations, including warehousing, receiving, shipping and equipment management. Responsibilities include planning inbound/outbound volume, managing space utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining safety, quality and cost objectives.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and enforce safe, profitable systems and procedures for operations, equipment and products. Meet productivity and service goals and comply with client SLAs. Lead continuous improvement efforts and propose cost‑saving measures. Maintain client KPI compliance and quality system requirements. Hire, train, develop and evaluate staff; conduct performance appraisals and address performance issues. Collaborate with Human Resources on hiring, training, and professional development programs. Convey critical operational information to senior management and client representatives. Plan daily schedules, assess priorities, and assign duties to warehouse staff. Oversee space management, equipment usage, and staffing adjustments. Ensure effective training and adherence to SOPs for all team members. Maintain high motivation and focus on customer satisfaction. Conduct routine staff meetings to review work activities. Administer and manage information systems, including WMS, and support IT procurement and training. Manage customer service standards, coordinate supplier/customer visits, and promote positive client relationships. Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance controls to meet cost, revenue and profit targets. Maintain sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping, safety and equipment standards. Drive proactive safety culture and audit compliance with safety, security and quality principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required. 7+ years in logistics/distribution or related environment. 5+ years in a supervisory role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicable WMS systems. English communication fluency at all levels.

Compensation

Base pay: $90,000 - $100,000 per year.
