Ryder is hiring Permanent Full Time Team Leads in Hagerstown, Maryland. Warehouse positions pay weekly.

Position Details

Hourly Pay: $23.69 per hour

Schedules Available: First Shift

Sunday‑Tuesday and every other Wednesday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Thursday‑Saturday and every other Wednesday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

1+ year powered industrial truck experience preferred

1+ year previous experience as Team Lead preferred

1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred

1+ year previous warehouse experience preferred

Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner – advanced required

Valid forklift operator's license certified

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Effective leadership skills

Flexible to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Performs work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent organizational skills

Proactively approaches responsibilities

Maintains composure under pressure

Uses health and safety methods

Bilingual (For Québec locations only)

Responsibilities

Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations.

Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to team members for optimal shift/team logistics.

Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPI’s using appropriate leadership styles and methods.

Assist in providing orientation for employees, giving them necessary information, technology, and tools.

Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.

Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).

Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Some positions require additional screening including employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check and a road test, and/or background requirements of the customer.
