Location: Madison, WI | Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00

Position Summary The Tool Crib Associate manages inventory for the Tool Crib Warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking, efficient storage, and timely supply of tools, materials, chemicals, and equipment.
Essential Functions
Receive, store, and issue materials, oils, chemicals, and equipment.
Sort and place incoming items on racks, shelves, or bins.
Maintain records of hand tools and equipment; inspect returned tools for damage.
Perform cycle and inventory counts to ensure accuracy.
Enter and verify purchase requisitions in ERP system (Odyssey).
Create new code for all new purchased items (inventory or non‑inventory).
Work with managers to ensure inventory levels are correct and assist with purchasing new tools.
Deliver oils, chemicals, packages, and production materials.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Working Conditions Occasional exposure to high heat, fumes, and noise in the production area; risk of cuts and burns.
Physical Demands Physical exertion required with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally bend and move about the facility.
Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in comprehensive English.
Basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
Must obtain MKC forklift certification.
Ability to use and understand micrometers, electronic indicators, dial calipers, and other precision gauges.
