The Air Import Coordinator will manage end-to-end air import operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of shipments from overseas origins to final delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate air import shipments from booking confirmation through final delivery.
Prepare and process import documentation, including AWBs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs entries.
Monitor inbound shipments, track flight schedules, and proactively communicate with airlines, overseas agents, and customers.
Ensure all shipments comply with U.S. Customs and other regulatory requirements.
Arrange trucking, warehousing, and final‑mile delivery services as needed.
Maintain accurate shipment data in the company’s TMS system.
Resolve issues such as delays, discrepancies, or documentation problems.
Provide excellent customer service by keeping clients informed and addressing inquiries promptly.
Collaborate with internal departments to support seamless operations.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in air import operations within a freight forwarding environment (preferred).
Strong understanding of air import processes, U.S. Customs regulations, and Incoterms.
Experience working with TMS/operational software (CargoWise experience a plus).
Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
