Build a better future as a US IT Operations & ERP Lead in Edison, NJ.
Compensation Range: $195,795 – $239,305. Possible Bonus: 10%.
About The Role The IT operations and ERP lead will manage the day‑to‑day functionality of the US IT group and will also have a hands‑on leadership role in the design and implementation of a new ERP system for the US company (SAP). The leader will budget, plan, and execute ongoing local business support through effective prioritization, delegation, and resource management. The leader is responsible for designing and executing a project plan to replace the local ERP tools and will have governance over other various ERP initiatives and large enterprise projects. The leader will innovate while providing guidance to the business on successful project management and will also be expected to lead and develop teams of internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
Managing implementing complex solutions, modifications, or enhancements to existing ERP and related applications
Budgeting, planning, and executing large‑scale, multi‑site ERP projects with support from global and regional resources
Knowledge of multiple full SAP project lifecycles and ASAP methodology, from project initiation to go‑live implementation and follow‑on support
Implementation of new features and functions and leading external partners, who provide programming and other technical expertise
Co‑ordinating plans and executing projects that bolt on to ERP solutions such as CRM, Transportation Management, Expense Reporting, Demand and capacity planning, supply chain logistics, Commodity Trading, product data management, EDI solutions, labeling, training/e‑learning and other related applications
Select, supervise, coach, and evaluate assigned staff, establishing work rules and performance standards through conducting performance evaluations
Develop goals and objectives
Responsible for training and motivating subordinates in order to encourage staff to reach their full potential and meet changing system demands
Seek out, bid out/select business partners with regard to ERP solutions, in co‑ordination with global ERP management
Contribute to technical discussions with integration know‑how
About You
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, a master’s degree is preferred
Minimum of 10 years overall experience, minimum of 6 in relevant or related industries. ERP and related project leadership in a global process manufacturing environment
At least 3 years of experience working with global teams of IT and global business users is critical
Experience leading teams and cross‑functional teams
Prior SAP/ERP implementation experience is a must
