Responsibilities
Identify market potential including new regional target areas, new market segments, establishes pricing and market strategies, estimates potential sales, introduce market, distribution/channel issues, and manages mature product through phase ‑ out
Defines promotional activities, publicizing the product through the press, sales force, and alternate distribution channels
Provides expertise in particular product area and develops strategies and applicable portions of the company business plan
Plans, organizes, and coordinates assigned programs to ensure accomplishment of financial/budgetary goals and optimum allocation of resources
Manages resources to execute assigned programs
Develop market and growth opportunities with PL extension. Offer insights and planning for acquisition opportunities that supply a foundation for same (e.g., Universal Parts)
Conducts pre‑contract liaison with customer and may participate in negotiating with key customers regarding contract terms and conditions
Coordinates details of strategy within the organization with a wide range of functions and individuals
Reviews potential changes in scope of contract and advises management and customer of potential impact changes
Coordinates product introduction and market exploitation with marketing and sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration of market segment
Assists with preparation of long‑term sales strategies and growth
Align execution of strategies with the tools / systems provided by Enterprise Solutions (previous Dragonfly project)
Develop and lead teams appropriate to the new business development initiative

Proven ability to intelligently operate and navigate in a multinational matrixed corporation
