Associate Attorney
Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our Personal Injury team. The role plays a pivotal part in advocating for our clients’ rights and delivering outstanding legal services.
Location Birmingham, Alabama
Base Pay Range $100,000.00/yr - $145,000.00/yr
Work Schedule Hybrid schedule with at least 2-3 days in office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Manage discovery, including propounding and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and analyzing complex documents.
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and complex motions.
Perform legal research.
Make court appearances as necessary.
Participate in case strategy discussions and contribute innovative ideas.
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
Collaborate with senior attorneys on cases.
Qualifications and Requirements
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.
Active license to practice law in Alabama.
2+ years of experience in litigation.
Proficiency in Adobe, Microsoft Office products.
Proficiency with E-Discovery and law programs such as Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, and OneLegal.
Detail‑oriented, organized, team player, reliable, capable of multitasking and managing several time‑critical projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
