Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to oversee and manage HVAC construction projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, particularly in HVAC, and a proven track record of managing commercial construction projects. This role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Manage HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure all project requirements are met. Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress against these plans. Oversee the design and installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork and piping. Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and compliance with safety and quality standards. Resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle and communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Prepare and present project reports and documentation, including change orders and budget updates. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry, particularly in commercial projects. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, sheet metal work, ducting, and piping. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with design build processes and construction management principles. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications in project management or HVAC systems (e.g., PMP, HVAC Excellence) are a plus.
