Responsibilities
Implement skill‑building interventions and engage natural supports to facilitate de‑escalation and stabilization strategies.
Provide critical care coordination that acts as a bridge service, assisting clients as they transition between different levels of care.
Plan individualized development training, conduct needs assessments, and advocate for client rights and services.
Maintain thorough documentation, monitor progress, and coordinate appointments while fostering effective working relationships within a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services such as Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
Minimum of one year of experience providing behavioral health services to adults with serious mental illness or emotional impairments.
Registered or eligible to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional‑Adult (QMHP‑A) within 30 days of employment.
Strong knowledge of crisis intervention principles and supportive counseling techniques.
Proficiency in computer software tools for documentation and reporting.
Valid Virginia Driver’s License.
Additional Requirements
Pass a criminal history fingerprint background investigation.
Undergo DMV record check, Child Registry search, drug screening test, and employment reference checks.
