Responsibilities
Install intrusion alarms, video surveillance camera systems, card reader access systems, and fire alarm systems.
Perform pre‑wiring for new construction, retro‑fit existing structures, and troubleshoot and repair existing systems.
Manage end‑to‑end system installation: wiring, control board termination, device programming, comprehensive testing of all components, and communication between devices.
Identify and resolve problems, provide training to customers on proper system usage, and ensure code compliance.
Act as a professional ambassador to customers and prospective customers, demonstrating professionalism, expertise, and genuine care.
Qualifications
At least two years of experience as a fire alarm technician.
Familiarity with fire systems equipment such as Silent Knight, Fire‑Lite, Notifier, EST, and others.
Strong problem‑solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
Positive attitude, honesty, integrity, dependability, loyalty, strong work ethic, pride in workmanship, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
Willingness to work overtime on a regular basis.
NICET certification preferred.
