Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
This is the role for a builder who knows how to operate without handholding. A nationwide commercial and residential construction firm is hiring a Project Manager for the Dallas/Fort Worth region to lead commercial construction projects for major telecom and data center clients. This PM will run point on everything: client meetings, scopes, proposals, schedules, subcontractor oversight, field coordination, and on-site validation across Texas and surrounding states. Work moves fast. Clients demand excellence. And they need a PM who can deliver both. Someone who leads with humility, builds strong relationships, and thrives in a remote, high-trust environment.
Project Manager Responsibilities
Own full lifecycle management of commercial construction projects across TX and nearby markets
Build scopes, proposals, budgets, schedules, and timelines
Manage multiple active projects ranging from one-day service calls to multimillion-dollar efforts
Oversee subcontractor teams, site superintendents, and jobsite execution
Maintain tight communication with clients and navigate high-pressure, fast-paced expectations
Conduct regular on-site visits throughout TX, with occasional travel to surrounding states
Ensure safety, quality, compliance, and timely delivery across all work
Collaborate with PM team, leadership, and field staff to keep projects aligned and moving
Use proprietary project management platform for daily tracking and documentation
Strengthen the company’s reputation for integrity, reliability, and relationship-driven service
Project Manager Requirements
Several years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
GC experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects
Comfortable managing subs, working in live/active environments, and handling demanding client relationships
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel frequently for site visits
Construction Management or Business degree, municipal building experience, familiarity with electrical systems, or data center work preferred
Not a fit: Big egos, know-it-alls, or PMs unwilling to collaborate
Benefits
401(k) with company match
Profit sharing
Medical, dental, vision
Generous + 5 personal days + 8 paid holidays + Additional paid week for mission/service trips
Company credit card for all travel expenses
$800/month car allowance
Clear promotion paths: PM → Regional PM → Executive PM
Apply now if you are a grounded, relationship-driven Project Manager who can lead with confidence, stay humble under pressure, and deliver exceptional work in a fully remote, high-trust environment.
