The Operations Support Manager specializes in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of Celebree children through the flawless execution of identified safety measures, rituals, and routines. The Operations Support Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by overseeing the implementation and compliance of child supervision protocols ensuring appropriate supervision is maintained at all times.

Works closely with team members to reinforce the importance of constant supervision and adherence to safety protocols.

Provides feedback to team members on effective transition management techniques, emphasizing a child-centric approach.

Provides timely and specific feedback on potential improvements to minimize the risk of unsupervised situations.

Provides transparent and timely information about supervision practices

Coordinates with teachers and support staff to establish clear communication channels during transition times.

Upholds a professional and approachable demeanor, acting as a positive role model for team members and children.

Provides timely and accurate information in the event of an emergency or safety incident.

Utilizes the parent communication app to ensure accurate records are being maintained.

Monitors and oversees every transition that occurs within the School to ensure child safety and supervision.

Ensures every transition is conducted with name to face counts by the teacher and that the parent communication app is appropriately updated with accurate information.

Ensures staff members interact with children during outside play time and are appropriately positioned (zoned) for maximum supervision.

Oversees daily operations related to childcare transitions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.

Conduct regular sweeps of all classrooms and outdoor play areas to ensure no child is left unsupervised.

Identify trends and areas for improvement, to ensure effective transition management.

Conduct routine safety inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards.

Conduct regular reviews of the School, utilizing the facilities audit checklist to ensure the school environment is safe and in alignment with state licensing standards and Celebree’s brand standards.

Performs safety and sleep checks during naptime to ensure proper spacing of children, sleeping positions and supervision.

Provides redirection or guidance to children during transitions to ensure they are appropriately supervised.

Participate in ongoing training sessions related to supervision, emergency response and safety protocols.

Education & Experience Candidate should have attained one of the following qualification levels:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.

An associate degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

An associate degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 4 years of experience with children.

Skills Communication Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.

Keen observational skills to assess and understand the needs and emotions of children and teachers. The ability to identify potential issues or challenges and proactively address them.

Interpersonal Skills:

Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

Problem-Solving:

Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situations during transitions.

Flexibility and Adaptability:

Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and be flexible in managing transitions. Adjusting plans as needed to accommodate the individual needs of children and families.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborative mindset to work closely with teachers, leadership, and parents.

Organizational Skills:

Keeping track of schedules, resources, and relevant information.

Crisis Management:

Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively. Implementing emergency procedures when needed to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Advocacy:

Advocate for the needs of children. Promote practices that prioritize the emotional and psychological well-being of children.
