Remote Indirect Subcontract Administrator
Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) is seeking an individual for a position as a Remote Indirect Subcontract Administrator. The successful candidate will act as the prime interface between team members and leadership in other functions, and will execute, negotiate, and maintain indirect procurement and supplier agreements. Responsibilities
Manage procurement processes for indirect materials and services, and subcontracted work to support business operations. Maintain and update supplier agreements; negotiate terms with new and existing suppliers to optimize value and ensure compliance. Coordinate with internal departments, external suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure procurement activities are cost-effective, timely, and aligned with company standards. Communicate supply chain updates and statuses effectively to internal stakeholders and business units. Lead special projects focused on continuous improvement within supply chain operations. Balance and prioritize multiple tasks and initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across indirect procurement activities. Drive process and tool enhancements; adopt and implement best practices within the procurement function. Negotiate contractual terms to minimize organizational risk and ensure legal compliance. Support government contracting requirements, with working knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFAR (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement). Serve as a subject matter expert in procurement, providing strategic guidance to cross-functional teams and leadership. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field Eight years of relevant experience in supply chain management Minimum of 2 years experience in indirect materials and services procurement Experience managing procurement of indirect materials, services, and subcontracted work to support business operations, optimizing cost efficiency, supplier performance, and operational continuity Experience with Statements of Work and Supplier Agreements Negotiation experience Experience with ERP Systems such as Deltek Costpoint Experience with Microsoft product set (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) Self-starter with a drive for continuous improvement Ability to collaborate effectively in group settings Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing requirements and priorities Professional demeanor with strong writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills Preferred Requirements
Experience in federal government contracts Knowledge of construction, manufacturing, industrial, and software industries Security Clearance
