This position within the Department of Surgery, Division of Research, will be responsible for supporting academic research through data collection, management, and analysis, and creating visualizations and reports for decision‑making. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in clinical research activities across a broad spectrum, including data warehouse requests, data processing and analysis, and abstract manuscript writing. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Strong interest in pursuing a career in health outcomes and data analysis for biomedical research. Familiarity and interest in learning data analysis software (e.g. R, SAS, SPSS) and statistical methods. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. Prior experience in clinical research, abstract and manuscript writing and data analysis is preferred, but not required. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
